I decided to "cut the cable" and after reading reviews on yelp, i called John and asked what would be a good option. John responded quick, and provided a breakdown on the cost and equipment needed. Ulrich H.June 18, 2015I called John to run a wire from the main line (entering my house in the 2nd floor) to the TV in the living room (1st floor). He arrived perfectly on time, and is very friendly. John checked what the best way would be to run the wire (via crawl space or on the exterior of the house). He explained everything very well and we discussed the different options. The actual wiring was very quick and very professionally done. The price was reasonable. Overall, I can very strongly recommend John.Posted on Google

I recently selected John to mount my flat screen TV on my wall. I was considering a few other installers who also had solid reviews , but I had a good feeling about John and he asked some great questions up front which confirmed that he knew his stuff. John was able to work with my schedule to find a time that worked for both of us and he provided me with updates on his ETA the day he was scheduled to come by (something I wish more service providers would do). Overall, John was very professional, thorogough and efficient. He even arranged all of my wiring into a cable/wire organizer which scored me big brownie points with the Mrs. (Thanks John! :-)Posted on Yelp
Brandi T.September 1, 2010John installed our Sony flatscreen yesterday. I can honestly say that this is one of the best service providers I have ever had. Everything was perfect from start to finish. They called me in advance of my appointment time to let me know that they would be there at the time promised. They showed up with a crew of 3, which made the installation go very quickly. They hung my 52 inch TV beautifully, and in addition, assembled a console unit to store my peripherals (I had just moved in and the shelves were not assembled). When they were finished, they fully explained how to use the remote controls and components. SO professional. I plan on using them in the future to get our surround speakers installed. John has installed multiple TV's for me on several occasions and I have always been extremely satisfied. He is very energetic and pays attention to detail. David S.December 11, 2010I had what I considered a pretty tricky install - a 60" LCD screen with a corner mount, and limited stud space to mount from due to a fireplace on the left and a door on the right of the corner. We were also a bit undecided on whether to follow through on the corner mount or switch to a fireplace mount. I had talked to John before the appointment and due to the size & nature of the install, he helped me find my own mount that I pre-ordered. He also explained clearly the scope of fees (i.e. what he could & couldn't do at his base price), and I appreciated that directness and clarity. We got very late notice that the TV was coming, but John was able to free up a time slot the next day after I called him. John arrived on time, and he was again very clear & concise when we went over options & arrived at the plan. John broke down the pros & cons of the fireplace vs. corner install in terms that my wife could pick up on easily. It didn't hurt that John agreed with me that the corner mount was our best bet! :-) He then worked with us to get the right eye level for the mount. Once the plan was set, it was really worry free. John took a few minutes to get familiar with the mount I ordered, which he had not used before, but once he got going, the job was done right around the 2-2 1/2 hours we had budgeted. My wife was amazed at how well the cables were hidden, and in the end was very happy with the location. Our monster screen really looks like it's levitating in its corner spot with no visible bracket or cables. John made sure our TV was connected to the components we had ID'd, and there were no post-install glitches, it really was a completely smooth job & worth every penny. I can recommend John & his crew without reservation after this excellent experience.Posted on YelpMichael C.April 22, 2023I just had my Samsung Q80B 75 inch TV mounted with MantelMount MM700 installed by John yesterday. One word : "perfect"! I have been patiently waiting for John for few days because he was out of town and I only wanted him to install because of the Yelp reviews. And yes! John did it right and carefully mounted this heavy TV over my fireplace. He even sets up the tv for me, tied all the cables behind for my Apple TV and set top box and it looks very clean. Madhur A.December 31, 2018John squeezed us last minute before the Christmas holidays. We are returning customers for John as he helped us mount our TV around 4.5 years back. We recently moved and needed our TV to be fixed on top of a fireplace in our new house. He showed up early and completed mounting within an hour. He was careful to place a cover on the floor in case the drilling caused debris and quick to make the install. It was nice of him to listen to our 3year old's princess stories while making the install happen. We really appreciate his good work and accommodating us at such a short notice. I bought my TV at Best Buy but decided to go with John instead of the Geek Squad because of all the great reviews and photos on Yelp. When he arrived at our house, he walked me through the process and how high it's going to sit above our fireplace. When he was done, he asked me if I was happy with the set-up but I felt like it needed to be a little higher. He didn't hesitate to adjust it for me. I thought he would be annoyed. He also connected our TV to xfinity cable and made sure everything is set up for us. John did an amazing job for a reasonable price. I highly recommend him!Posted on Google

Kevin P.April 5, 2010I had two TV's mounted by John. The first was a 54" Plasma, on an adjustable tilt mount. The set looks great above my fireplace, centered perfectly. They ran the cables behind the wall, over to my cabinet, and did a great job, considering there was a lot of wood studs they had to go through. John patched up the wall holes, and now all I have to do is spray on some wall texturing, and do a quick paint over. I also had mounted a 42" plasma, on a flat wall mount. It looks perfect as well. I had the cabling dropped straight below the TV on the outside of the wall, and covered will a cabling conduit. Once I do a quick paint over the conduit cover, it'll look very nice and clean. John was very professional, and nice. He was able to supply all the necessary cables that I needed. He even recommended a data cable for gaming, which I didn't think about.Posted on YelpBrenda J.December 10, 2019My passed experience with John was fab ( 6 years ago). So when my flat screen died and bought new TVs for den and bedroom John was my first go to. as he had installed my surround sound system and ran fiber to boot. So now just replacing my old for new slightly larger screen was an easy task for John. I wanted my bedroom wires in the walk so they wouldn't show. John accommodated my wishes without a second thought. The whole job took less than hour.
